[Edaily Reporter KYUNG GYEYOUNG ] LF(093050)announced on the 21st that Reebok, the sports brand it distributes in Korea, is re-releasing the “Instapump Fury 94” sneakers.

Designed by Steven Smith in 1994, the Instapump Fury is the sneaker that most symbolizes Reebok’s innovation. It features a pump mechanism on the upper instead of laces; pressing the button inflates an air chamber inside the upper, securely wrapping around the instep, and is characterized by its futuristic design.

The re-released Instapump Fury ’94 is a faithful reproduction based on the original Instapump Fury design. While retaining the original pump system and cushioning technology, the shoe incorporates mesh material to improve durability and comfort. The collection consists of one global model and three colorways exclusive to the Korean market. The Korean-exclusive colorways include the original blue, red, and white combination, as well as Citron Green and Purple.

Following the launch of the Instapump Fury in Asian markets, particularly Japan, Reebok plans to highlight the Fury’s heritage by introducing an exclusive line in Korea. In the second half of the year, the brand plans to sequentially roll out various projects, including a collaboration with the Korean brand BALANSA.

The Instapump Fury 94 goes on sale starting today at Reebok’s official online store, major online retailers such as 29CM and Musinsa, and select Reebok brick-and-mortar stores.

An LF official stated, “The Instapump Fury is the model that most symbolizes Reebok’s innovation and heritage,” adding, “Starting with this relaunch, we plan to continue introducing the unique appeal of the Instapump Fury to a new generation through various collaborations and cultural projects.”
