Jeon Hyun-moo, who is active across variety shows, educational programs, and award ceremonies, said, “There’s a reason why, among all the award ceremonies I host, the Blue Dragon Series Awards are particularly special and make my heart race. It’s because most of the nominated works and actors are ones I’ve genuinely cheered for and enjoyed watching myself. So, attending the Blue Dragon Series Awards every year—both as a host and as a die-hard fan—feels less like work and more like a festival to me. Looking at this year’s nominees and works across all categories, I’m quite thrilled and excited. I’ll do my best to vividly convey this exhilarating energy to all of you,” he said. Im Yoon-ah, who is loved by fans both at home and abroad for her multifaceted activities spanning acting and singing, said, “It’s truly meaningful that the Blue Dragon Series Awards, which I’ve been a part of since the very first edition, is already celebrating its fifth anniversary. Above all, I’m both grateful and thrilled to be able to greet everyone as the host for the fifth consecutive year at this meaningful awards ceremony that celebrates the present and future of K-content,” she said. “I’m really looking forward to bringing together, once again, the diverse works and creators who have received so much love from viewers over the past year. I’ll do my best to effectively convey the emotion of the event and the festive atmosphere.” The two, who have established themselves as unrivaled figures in their respective fields, have become the iconic faces of the Blue Dragon Series Awards. Attention is now focused on what kind of chemistry they will showcase this year as they continue their partnership for the fifth consecutive year. The 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards will take place this Friday, the 31st, at 8:30 p.m. at Paradise City in Incheon and will be broadcast live on KBS2. A total of five works have been nominated for Best Series: “Made in Korea,” “Yumi’s Cells Season 3,” “Eun-joong and Sang-yeon,” “The Legend of the Mess Sergeant,” and “The Scarecrow.”
