Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly promote the automation and unmanned operation of cosmetic ingredient manufacturing processes by introducing EVERYBOT Inc.’s humanoid robots into SUNJIN BEAUTY SCIENCE CO., LTD.’s smart factory production sites. Their goal is to go beyond a simple proof of concept (PoC) and achieve the continuous operation of humanoid robots on actual production lines. Building on this collaboration, the two companies plan to commercialize humanoid-based manufacturing process automation. EVERYBOT Inc. will supply the humanoid robots and build an AI-based manufacturing automation platform, while SUNJIN BEAUTY SCIENCE CO., LTD. will oversee their implementation on the production floor to realize a next-generation smart factory model. SUNJIN BEAUTY SCIENCE CO., LTD. currently operates the Janghang GMP Smart Factory, which was the first in Korea to pass a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on-site inspection with a “No Action Indicated” (NAI) rating. Through this agreement, EVERYBOT Inc. plans to secure use cases for humanoids in industrial settings and enhance the operational intelligence of humanoids based on operational data accumulated on the manufacturing floor. The company’s strategy is to expand the scope of application to various manufacturing sectors, including cosmetics and fine chemicals, in the future. EVERYBOT Inc. stated, “With this agreement as a stepping stone, we plan to fully pursue the commercialization of humanoid-based manufacturing process automation and expand the number of real-world industrial applications.”
