[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] KNS CO., LTD(432470), a company specializing in unmanned automation for high-tech industries, announced on the 22nd that it has successfully secured a large-scale additional robot order from a global company, S, and is accelerating the expansion of its overseas robotics business. (Photo: KNS CO., LTD) KNS CO., LTD’s Vietnam subsidiary has secured an order for more than 400 industrial robots from a global Company S, marking a further achievement following the supply contract for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) signed last June. However, the identity of the client remains confidential in accordance with the contract terms. The company views this order as highly significant, as it not only substantially increases supply volumes to Company S but also diversifies its product portfolio, which includes industrial robots and AGVs. With this, KNS CO., LTD’s Vietnam subsidiary has secured a cumulative order portfolio of nearly 1,000 units in the robot foundry sector and is successfully expanding its business with Japanese and South Korean global companies operating in the region. Amid the global trend of shifting supply chains away from China, Vietnam’s manufacturing sector continues to experience rapid growth. According to Standard Chartered Bank, Vietnam’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate is projected to reach 9.5% this year. With the adoption rate of factory automation equipment ranking among the highest in Asia, production lines—led by multinational tech companies—are evolving from simple assembly to high-value-added manufacturing. KNS CO., LTD recognized this trend early on and established a local subsidiary in Vietnam, using it as a forward base for its global robotics business. Currently, the company is expanding its order portfolio with local global conglomerates by conducting business in areas such as △ cutting-edge industrial unmanned automation equipment, △ robot foundries, and △ the production and sale of autonomous robots. A KNS CO., LTD official stated, “This achievement demonstrates the excellence of our on-time delivery capabilities and the quality of our products,” adding, “In line with the trend toward automation—including the adoption of global Physical AI and AI-powered smart factories and dark factories—we will continue to expand business opportunities in overseas markets, including Vietnam.”
