The band name “Splayit” is a combination of “Splay” (to unfold) and “Play it” (to perform), conveying the meaning that they will “unfold their individuality and passion through music.” The members of S-Split previously made a strong impression on viewers by performing as the “School Band” team on Mnet’s band survival program “Steel Heart Club,” which aired last year. Their agency stated, “S-Split is determined to breathe new energy into the band scene by showcasing their solid musical skills, teamwork, and unique musical style.” S-Split announced their imminent debut by posting a “coming soon” image on their official social media accounts today. They plan to release a variety of teaser content leading up to their debut.
