Photo: Screenshot from “First, Lee Na-yeon”A video titled “I’m Not Unemployed Yet | JTBC Commute Vlog, Jenny’s Favorite Restaurant Negi Live, A Day in the Life of a 30-Something Office Worker Who Decorates Her Phone Case,” recently uploaded to the YouTube channel “First, Lee Na-yeon,” had been edited as of the 24th. The portion where Lee Na-yeon mentioned JTBC was deleted. Previously, Lee Na-yeon had shared footage of herself commuting to work at JTBC in the video. While showing herself taking a video call for a Chinese tutoring session on the first floor of the JTBC building, she remarked, “Maybe it’s because the company is struggling. The air conditioning isn’t working. It’s so stuffy.” After the video was released, attention focused on that comment. Some netizens expressed concern about JTBC’s situation, while others reacted with comments such as “That was thoughtless,” “It seems she filmed it without thinking,” and “She was immature.” As a heated debate unfolded over the video, it appears the scene in question has been deleted. Lee Na-yeon began her broadcasting career in 2021 when she joined JTBC as a golf announcer. She gained fame in 2022 after appearing on the TVING original variety show *Transfer Love 2*. Following its filing for corporate rehabilitation on the 15th of last month, JTBC also applied for the Autonomous Restructuring Support (ARS) program. On the 30th of last month, the Seoul Bankruptcy Court approved JTBC’s ARS application but deferred its decision on whether to initiate corporate rehabilitation proceedings. In contrast, the court decided to initiate rehabilitation proceedings for four affiliates of the Joongang Group.
