[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] The group LE SSERAFIM is set to set Japan ablaze once again. With their Japan concerts—the second leg of their new world tour—just around the corner, all eyes are on whether they will continue the unparalleled box office success they’ve built up in the country. They will then visit five cities—including Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Miyagi, and Fukuoka—to meet with local fans. The Osaka concert, the tour’s starting point, sold out well in advance, and even the additional standing-room-only tickets that were released proved the high level of interest. This tour continues the momentum of their new world tour, which kicked off in Incheon. LE SSERAFIM not only performed new songs from their second full-length album, “PUREFLOW pt.1,” live for the first time but also earned rave reviews by weaving the album’s message of “solidarity” throughout the entire performance. From the opening—where masked dancers brought the world of the lead single “CELEBRATION” to life—to the interactive encore where fans sang along, the performance itself was a true celebration. Japan, in particular, is considered the market where LE SSERAFIM’s global influence is most clearly evident. The group has six songs certified for over 100 million streams by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), and all seven of their full-length and mini-albums released in Korea have topped the Oricon Daily Album Rankings. This is a record unmatched by any other fourth-generation K-pop girl group. The scale of their concerts has also grown steadily. Following their debut at the Tokyo Dome for the encore performances of last year’s first world tour—which drew approximately 80,000 attendees over two days—they are now expanding their connection with local fans through an arena tour spanning all of Japan. Various local activities will also take place during the tour. Hong Eun-chae will meet fans on August 5 by throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a home game for the Chiba Lotte Marines of the Japanese Professional Baseball League. Following that, LE SSERAFIM will make their debut appearance at Japan’s largest music festival, “Summer Sonic 2026,” where they are scheduled to perform for about an hour on stages in Osaka and Tokyo.
