Having hinted at this new direction with their pre-release track, Silica Gel plans to present a more expansive sound and narrative through their third full-length album, *Ballad of You*.

According to their agency, CAM, Silica Gel announced on the 23rd via their official social media accounts that their third studio album, *Ballad of You*, will be released at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th of next month. Along with this announcement, they revealed the album cover, marking the start of the official comeback countdown.
Ahead of the release, they have also launched Pre-Save and Pre-Add promotions. By allowing fans to pre-save the album on major global music platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music, they are building anticipation among fans.
The revealed album cover maintains a visual connection with the pre-release single “Molecular Gastronomy,” which was released on the 30th of last month. Roughly torn paper, ASCII art, and the red tape securing them create a striking contrast, symbolically capturing the new album’s unique atmosphere.
Silica Gel has previously showcased a sound that further expands their existing musical palette through “BIG VOID” and “Molecular Gastronomy.” They have consistently teased their third full-length album through performances and interviews, and at their solo concerts, they have unveiled setlists featuring new songs, further fueling anticipation for the new release.
Silica Gel will hold their largest solo concert to date since their debut, titled “Silica Gel Asia Tour <The Size: Ballad of You> in Seoul,” at the K-SPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park on September 26–27 . Following this, they plan to kick off their first full-scale Asian tour, visiting Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan, to officially launch promotions for their third studio album.
