On the 24th, it was reported that Nam Joo-hyuk, through his agency Fable Company, donated 100 million won to Asan Medical Center in Seoul again this year, demonstrating his spirit of generosity. With this donation, Nam Joo-hyuk’s cumulative donations to Asan Medical Center have reached a total of 500 million won.
This donation is scheduled to be used for various initiatives to improve the medical environment at the children’s hospital and support young patients, including the improvement of treatment facilities and the medical environment for pediatric and adolescent patients; research and education for medical staff; home care and palliative care for critically ill pediatric patients; and emotional support and integrated care for young patients and their families.
Nam Joo-hyuk has been actively engaged in charitable giving since 2018. Building on his own experience of being able to pursue his dreams thanks to a scholarship, he donated 30 million won to his alma mater, Suwon Suil High School. Since then, he has consistently donated to causes in need, including relief funds for neighbors affected by wildfires.
Meanwhile, Nam Joo-hyuk is continuing his acting career by starring as Gu Cheon in the Netflix series “Donggung.” Playing Gu Cheon, a character with the ability to traverse the world of spirits, he is drawing attention from viewers both in Korea and abroad with his intense historical action scenes.
In addition, Nam Joo-hyuk has been confirmed to star in the Disney+ original series “Code,” further heightening anticipation for his future projects.
