The music was produced by a team that includes world-renowned singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who co-wrote the song; Johnny McDaid, a member of the band Snow Patrol and producer; and Grammy Award-winning producer Blake Slatkin. Their agency, HYBE and Geffen Records, explained, “The song unleashes the uncontrollable instincts and wildness hidden within through a lively rhythm, dynamic beats, and an addictive hook.” They added, “We left room for interpretation in the lyrics so that listeners can relate to the song in their own way.” The music video, reminiscent of a sensual suspense film, depicts the moment when reason and instinct collide. Hollywood actress Demi Moore makes a cameo appearance, playing a role that brings the narrative to a climax. The video also features CAT’S EYE members performing choreography inspired by animal claws. CatsEye is a group formed through a joint venture between HYBE and Geffen Records in the U.S. The members were selected through the global audition project “The Debut: Dream Academy.” They won the New Artist of the Year award at this year’s “2026 American Music Awards.” “Animal” is the lead single from CAT’S EYE’s third mini-album, *WILD*, set for release on the 14th of next month.
