The Hi-Mart Plan offers affordable rates, and professional consultants in-store assist customers with application, activation, and setup. It is an MVNO (budget mobile carrier) plan exclusive to Hi-Mart that uses the KTCorporation network.

According to Hi-Mart Co., Ltd., while demand for value-oriented plans has recently increased, more people are encountering barriers to entry—such as purchasing a SIM card, activating the service, and setting it up. In response, Hi-Mart Co., Ltd. has launched its own plan that offers both affordability and convenience.

The new plans are categorized by data allowance as follows: △5G 5GB Plan (100 minutes of voice calls, 100 text messages, 4,900 won per month) △ 5G 30GB plan (15,900 won per month; 25,900 won per month upon renewal after one year) △ 5G 50GB plan (18,900 won per month; 33,900 won per month upon renewal after one year) △ 5G 100GB plan (37,900 won per month), among others.

To mark the launch of these plans, E-MART Co., Ltd. is also offering a special plan for customers purchasing unlocked devices, providing a 30GB data plan for 7,900 won per month during the first year of subscription.

In addition, Hi-Mart is currently accepting pre-orders for the “Galaxy Z8 Series” (Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, Flip 8) from SamsungElectronics(005930), which was recently unveiled. Along with this special plan to commemorate the launch of the new rate plans, Hi-Mart is also offering a free NFC (Near Field Communication) SIM card that supports Samsung Pay and transit card functions.

With the launch of this new plan, E-MART Co., Ltd. plans to expand its strategy—which goes beyond product sales to managing all aspects of customers’ daily lives—across the entire mobile sector. As part of this effort, it will unveil a revamped “Hi-Mart Mobile Care” service on the 28th. The coverage of the existing insurance plan, which previously focused on damage, has been expanded to include loss, theft, battery replacement, financial fraud, and accidental money transfers, and the coverage period has been extended to a maximum of three years.

Lee Eon-seok, Head of the Smart Appliances Division at LOTTE Himart, said, “By offering both reasonable prices and a convenient sign-up experience, we expect this to become a new option even for customers who have found it difficult to use telecommunications services.” He added, “We will continue to introduce services that broaden customer choices and reduce the inconveniences of daily life.”
