[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] Megazone Cloud has been awarded the highest tier in Samsung SDS’s (SAMSUNG SDS CO., LTD.(018260)) Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) Partner Program. The company explained that this recognition is based on its business achievements in the public cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), and graphics processing unit (GPU) cloud sectors.

Megazone Cloud announced on the 28th that it had been selected as a “Platinum Partner”—the highest tier in the Samsung SDS SCP Partner Program. Megazone Cloud is the only company to hold the status of Samsung SDS SCP Platinum Partner.

Following its attainment of the SCP “Advanced Partner” status last August, Megazone Cloud was promoted to the highest tier, Platinum Partner, just one year later.

This promotion is the result of comprehensive recognition of the company’s capabilities in executing SCP-based cloud projects, its technical expertise, and its customer support capabilities.

SCP partner tiers are awarded based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors such as the number of new contracts, business performance, the number of employees who have completed training courses, and certification status. Business performance is calculated based on results from the most recent one-year period as of the evaluation date.

Megazone Cloud met the requirements for Platinum status by executing numerous SCP-based projects in the public sector and accumulating business achievements in high-performance infrastructure areas such as AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS).

Megazone Cloud has demonstrated its capabilities in cloud deployment and operation for the public sector through projects such as the Integrated Call Center for the Government Joint Civil Petitions Center of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and the National Nano Infrastructure Integrated Information System.

Furthermore, by providing computing resources for the KoreaInformation&Communication Technology Association (TTA) AI Competition and supporting the high-performance computing infrastructure for the Seoul AI Hub, the company has also established its capability to provide the large-scale computing resources and GPU infrastructure necessary for AI research and development.
