[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] #M eighty-three Co.,Ltd. is rapidly expanding its foundation for group growth, centered on its artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure business. With the performance of its wholly-owned subsidiary, P&T Link, surging, the pace of expansion across its entire AI business portfolio appears to be accelerating. (Photo: M eighty-three Co.,Ltd.) M eighty-three Co.,Ltd. announced on the 28th that People & Technology, Inc. (P&T Link)’s revenue for the first half of this year is estimated to have reached an all-time high, already approaching last year’s full-year total. People & Technology, Inc. is a core affiliate responsible for the group’s AI infrastructure business and, together with D-Blat—which handles AI research and development (R&D)—forms a two-pillar structure. It is playing a pivotal role in transitioning the group’s existing content-centric business structure toward new AI-based growth initiatives. Through its proprietary B2B IT infrastructure platform, “BestServer,” People & Technology, Inc. is expanding the supply of servers, storage, and AI computing equipment to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and research institutions. The company’s strategy is to diversify its customer base by adding online distribution channels to its existing structure, which has traditionally focused on large corporate clients. The sharp increase in first-half earnings stems from the full reflection of the large-scale server and storage supply secured at the beginning of the year. Growth momentum is also continuing as the trend of expanding domestic AI infrastructure investment persists. P&T Link is supplying high-performance AI equipment for GPU server deployment to major platform and cloud companies such as Naver Cloud and Kakao. Even amid global supply shortages, the company is strengthening its sales capabilities through partnerships with overseas firms. Its customer base is also expanding rapidly. Moving beyond its traditional focus on platform companies, the company has broadened its reach into the financial sector, completing the supply of GPU servers for AI service operations to an insurance company and securing a reference project. Going forward, the company plans to expand not only across the entire financial sector—including banks, credit card companies, and securities firms—but also to general enterprises and research institutions. The market environment is also favorable. With domestic investment in AI infrastructure gaining momentum—as evidenced by Naver’s recent announcement of plans to build a global AI factory in partnership with NVIDIA—P&T Link is also expected to benefit. The company anticipates sustaining high growth over the next two to three years by expanding supplies to major clients and entering new markets. An M eighty-three Co.,Ltd. official emphasized, “As AI R&D and infrastructure businesses grow in tandem, the production environment in the content creation sector is also being advanced through AX (AI Transformation). We plan to strengthen our competitiveness in existing businesses, such as VFX, while expanding our AI business scope into various industries.”
