[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] White-hat hackers from RaonSecure Co., Ltd.(042510)will compete in the finals of DEF CON CTF, widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious hacking competition.

RaonSecure Co., Ltd. announced on the 28th that it had produced a total of 23 finalists in the recently held “DEF CON CTF 2026” qualifiers.

DEF CON CTF is the world’s most prestigious competition where top-tier white-hat hackers from around the globe compete in vulnerability analysis, attack and defense, and problem-solving skills; it is often referred to as the “Hacking Olympics.” A total of 686 teams from around the world participated in this year’s qualifiers, and after fierce competition, only 12 teams secured a spot in the finals to be held this August in Las Vegas, USA.

In these qualifiers, 23 white-hat hackers from RaonSecure Co., Ltd. participated as part of three teams, and all of the teams in which they competed successfully advanced to the finals. This achievement is significant as it demonstrates the company’s deep pool of white-hat talent capable of competing on the global stage.

This achievement is closely tied to the organizational capabilities of RaonSecure Co., Ltd.’s white-hat hacker team, which have been cultivated over many years. The RaonSecure White Hat Center is recognized as one of Korea’s leading white-hat hacker organizations and has consistently achieved success in global hacking competitions.

Notably, RaonSecure Co., Ltd. White Hat Center team leaders Kim Dong-min and Choi Yong-seon have achieved success as a team in renowned hacking competitions, including winning the SECCON CTF in Japan, taking first place in the public sector at the National Intelligence Service’s Cyber Attack Defense Competition (CCE), and placing fourth in the Def Con finals.
