According to Spotify on the 28th, “Tick-Tack,” a track from ILLIT’s (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) second mini-album *I’LL LIKE YOU*, had accumulated 200,023,727 streams as of the 26th. This marks ILLIT’s third song to reach 200 million streams.
“Tick-Tack” is a pop track that captures the chaotic, constantly shifting emotions within one’s mind. The unique electronic sound in the intro immediately grabs the listener’s attention, while the signature scat sound in the chorus—mimicking the ticking of a clock—creates a highly addictive hook. The cumulative streams of all songs released by ILLIT have surpassed 2.8 billion on Spotify. Their debut song, “Magnetic,” reached over 800 million plays in the shortest time for a K-pop group’s debut song (roughly 2 years and 1 month). Meanwhile, “NOT CUTE ANYMORE” and “Tick-Tack” have both exceeded 200 million streams, while “Lucky Girl Syndrome,” “Cherish (My Love),” “Do the Dance,” and “jellyous” have each surpassed 100 million streams.
