This scholarship is scheduled to be used for educational expenses for students facing financial difficulties and to support the operation of the school’s baseball team. DB INSURANCE has been providing scholarships annually since signing a sponsorship agreement with Chungju Seongsim School in 2013. Including this year’s donation, the cumulative amount of scholarship funds provided stands at approximately 340 million won. In addition to providing scholarships, the company has engaged with students through various programs, including volunteer activities by employees of the North Chungcheong Business Unit to improve the school environment, donations of supplies for the baseball team, and events inviting students to watch DB Inc. basketball games. The company also continues to support students living in difficult circumstances by providing various daily necessities. A representative from DB INSURANCE stated, “We hope that our 14-year partnership with Chungju Seongsim School will serve as a small source of strength for the students’ growth,” adding, “We will continue our social contribution activities, fulfilling our corporate social responsibility and growing together with the local community.”
