[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd.(318020), a company specializing in industrial mobile devices, announced on the 29th that it will supply its latest enterprise tablet PC, the “TR54,” to Japan’s largest logistics company through a partnership with Panasonic Connect and Fujitsu. The name of the client is being withheld in accordance with the contract’s confidentiality clause. (Photo: POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd.) The total value of this order is 3.2 billion won, and POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. projects that, including this order, its 2026 revenue in the Japanese market will reach 12.6 billion won—a 716% increase from the previous year. The company explained that this order is particularly significant because it adds Japan’s largest logistics company to its portfolio, complementing Amazon Japan—Japan’s leading e-commerce firm, which POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. already counts as a client. The company added that, by securing two leading companies in Japan’s core e-commerce and logistics industries as clients simultaneously, POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd.’s technological capabilities and product competitiveness have once again been proven in the Japanese enterprise market. This contract is a large-scale project in which the logistics company will completely replace the tablet PCs from a Japanese domestic manufacturer that it previously used with POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd.’s “TR54.” The company, which operates approximately 4,000 sales offices nationwide, will deploy the TR54 at each location for cargo acceptance operations. The TR54 will serve as the core digital transformation (DX) infrastructure for these offline sales offices, enabling tasks such as instantly processing shipping labels by scanning the QR codes of cargo registered by customers via a dedicated app. The TR54 was selected as the sole replacement model due to its customized design tailored to the specific characteristics of the field. The TR54 features intuitive touch responsiveness, a crisp display, and reliable durability even during prolonged, repetitive use. In particular, its thorough customer-centric customization—such as tilting the charging cradle at a 15-degree angle to align with the line of sight of customers visiting the sales offices, thereby enhancing readability and ease of use—was highly praised. POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. views this order as a flagship achievement resulting from the local, close-knit sales capabilities and technical expertise of its Japanese subsidiary. The company officially launched its Japanese subsidiary in late 2024 by acquiring Casio’s Mobile Business Division, which is ranked among Japan’s top three manufacturers of industrial mobile devices. Since then, leveraging the strong local network it has established, the company has been rapidly increasing its market share by expanding strategic partnerships with major Japanese IT companies such as Panasonic Connect, Fujitsu, and Toshiba. POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd.’s Japanese subsidiary is strengthening its presence in the Japanese enterprise market by securing a series of major projects, including: △ collaboration with Panasonic on a large-scale logistics project; △ supply of the TR54 to Japan’s largest logistics company; △ supply of the “PM95” mobile computer to a major security firm; and △ winning contracts for water and gas meter reading projects with local governments. Furthermore, by securing both Amazon Japan—the country’s leading e-commerce platform—and Japan’s largest logistics company as clients, the company has further strengthened its dominance in the local market. Amid this momentum, the company forecasts that its Japanese subsidiary’s revenue—which surged approximately 65-fold year-over-year in 2025—will increase by about sevenfold again in 2026 to reach 12.6 billion won. Just two years after its establishment, the company is continuing its rapid growth in the Japanese market and is widely regarded as a new growth engine for POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. POINT MOBILE Co., Ltd. emphasized, “Based on the success stories we’ve accumulated in Japan, we will continue to expand our market share in the global enterprise mobile device market.”
