Boy group The Wind (Tanathon, Choi Han-bin, Park Ha-yu-chan, Ahn Chan-won, Jang Hyun-jun) made this announcement at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th during the press showcase for their fourth mini-album, “Second Wind: S00,” held at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
“Second Wind: S00” is the new release from The Wind—who debuted in May 2023—marking their return after one year and four months since they released the single “Only One Story” in March of last year.
Given the long hiatus of over a year, the members’ passion for this promotional run is stronger than ever. The members unanimously stated that day, “During the hiatus, we worked hard to further solidify our teamwork and hone our individual skills.”
Park Ha-yu-chan emphasized, “While we used to focus on simply executing the choreography as directed, we’ve now reached a stage where every member is taking the initiative to create even better performances.”
The new album features five tracks, including the title track “Party Like A Rock Star,” a funky pop-rock song, as well as “With the Wind,” “That’s Smoove!,” “Shiver,” and “Back and Forth.” All tracks will be released at 6 p.m. today via various online music platforms.

The Wind, who have previously promoted with a refreshing concept, aim to further expand their musical spectrum with the release of this album.
Park Ha-yu-chan explained, “We’ve added a sense of depth and overflowing confidence to our existing lively and refreshing energy. ‘Refreshing Hip’ is the new keyword that defines The Wind.”
Regarding the title track, he said, “Since this was my first time working with a fast-tempo rock-based song, I was a bit worried at first, but after going through the rehearsal process, I’ve now reached a point where I can perform the song while having a blast on stage.”
Choi Han-bin expressed his satisfaction with the track, saying, “It immediately caught my ear,” and emphasized, “We’ll show you a fun performance.”
Park Kyung of Block B produced all the tracks on this album. This marks the first time The Wind has collaborated with Park Kyung to complete an album.
The members unanimously agreed, “Thanks to Senior Park Kyung’s encouragement, we were able to successfully pull off songs in a style we weren’t used to.”
Tanathon reflected on the production process, saying, “The album’s quality was elevated thanks to his meticulous direction on every detail, from vocal tone to breathing and pronunciation.”
Jang Hyun-jun added, “I was grateful when he told us, ‘The combination of our distinct vocal colors has created a sound unique to The Wind.’”
The Wind revealed their determination to open a new chapter by giving this album the subtitle “S00,” which signifies “the first page chronicling The Wind’s new worldview.”
The members stated, “We prepared for our comeback by practicing hard until dawn, determined to take the music industry by storm,” and set their goals for this promotional run as securing first place on music shows and increasing the recognition of all members.
