[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] Robot reducer manufacturer Haisung Aero-Robotics(059270)announced on the 30th that orders for robot reducers used in semiconductor manufacturing processes are on the rise, and that product shipments to strategic partners are now in full swing.

According to the company, the supply volume of a single model of ultra-precision robot reducers—ordered by a global semiconductor process equipment manufacturer—is expected to exceed 1.6 billion won within the year. This figure represents growth of more than 100% compared to last year’s total robot sales, based solely on orders from this single customer.

Haisung Aero-Robotics plans to supply its “HS Reducer” for exoskeleton wearable robots to Hexarobotics, with which it recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and intends to supply RV reducers and HS reducers for collaborative robots to “Company Y,” a KOSDAQ-listed industrial robot manufacturer. The company also explained that it has secured an order from “Company Q,” an existing customer for robot reducers used in medical equipment.

To accommodate this expansion in orders, the company recently decided to invest 10 billion won in expanding its production facilities.

An official from Haisung Aero-Robotics stated, “The order volume for a single model from our semiconductor equipment customer is exceeding previous expectations, and the supply of core components to robotics companies with which we have formed strategic partnerships is also gaining momentum.” The official added, “We expect significant growth in 2027, when the expansion of our production facilities and the validation of additional models for existing customers will create synergies.”
