[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] “We expect the trend of improved earnings seen in the first half to continue into the second half. For ESS, sales are projected to expand significantly in the second half, driven by growing demand for power systems and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) in the U.S. We also anticipate that profitability will remain strong, supported by increased sales from the new LFP production line and benefits from the U.S. Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credit (AMPC). For small-sized batteries, the company plans to operate at full production capacity to meet the growing demand for high-power products such as battery backup units (BBUs) and power tools. Regarding electric vehicle batteries, while the loss margin is expected to narrow due to mass production of new projects, the possibility of a decline in volumes from existing projects remains a factor to monitor.”
