On the 30th, SBS announced that Moon Geun-young will join “Our Ballad 2.” As the first female “Top 100 Representative” on the show, Moon is expected to demonstrate her exceptional ability to empathize with the contestants’ unique stories and songs. “Our Ballad” is a collective intelligence music survival audition show in which a 150-member “Top 100 Delegation”—comprising music experts as well as ordinary people of all ages—searches for new voices. Following the success of Season 1, Season 2 has been produced. Season 2 will begin full-scale production starting with its first recording this August. According to SBS, the number of applicants for Season 2 has nearly tripled compared to last year, and the average age of participants has dropped to 17.9 years old. “Our Ballad 2” will premiere on SBS this October.
