[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] Ms. A, who raised allegations regarding actor Hwang Jung-min’s private life, has refuted Hwang Jung-min’s camp’s claims that she is stalking him.

On the 30th and 31st, Person A posted three messages on their social media accounts refuting the Dispatch report.
First, regarding the claim that there was no physical contact or sexual relationship, Ms. A countered, “If one-sided sexual harassment counts as physical contact, then it did happen at the airport,” adding, “Strictly speaking, there was plenty of physical contact even during our first meeting. It continued all the way through that market alley as we left the bar to catch a taxi.”
She also addressed the controversial photo of a dead cat. The previous day, Dispatch had released a pixelated version of “photos of a cat’s bloodstains and corpse sent by Ms. A to Hwang Jung-min,” presenting them as evidence of stalking. Subsequently, many netizens speculated that Ms. A had abused the cat and sent the photos to Hwang Jung-min as a form of blackmail.
In response, Ms. A released an audio recording of a conversation with a person believed to be Hwang Jung-min, stating, “During a call on January 2, 2025, when I informed him that the cat was on the verge of death and was in pain, Hwang Jung-min made the insulting remark, ‘Quickly, smear some soybean paste on it. Early. Just do it.’”
The expression “smear it with soybean paste” is slang typically used for animals (dogs) that are sick or nearing death. Mr. A emphasized, “This is based on the context of the January 2, 2025, call, where I said, ‘I was in so much pain at that moment, and Hwang Jung-min made that remark,’” adding, “It is merely a record accompanied by an explanation and an expression of my feelings; it has absolutely nothing to do with creating anxiety, fear, or disgust.”
Regarding the photos of the cat, he added, “These are photos of holding the cat’s paw for the last time just before it passed away, the situation while waiting just before euthanasia was performed, and traces of wiping away the blood that flowed from the cat’s nose after it had passed.”
He also addressed the “soju business.” Previously, Mr. A had claimed that Hwang Jung-min proposed the soju business and that he had conducted market research, design work, and trademark searches. Dispatch responded, “From Hwang Jung-min’s perspective, the soju business was a kind of icebreaker.”
Ms. A said, “We were already at the point of saying, ‘Let’s book a hotel in Romania and meet up,’ so why is he still talking about ‘ice-breaking’?” She added, “Is there anyone who would keep making business proposals and giving instructions from overseas for over a month and a half?”
He continued, “When I asked if he was handling everything from the brewery to farming methods, Hwang Jung-min said he was doing it all and that he was serious,” and asserted, “He never said we had decided not to proceed with the business.”
Following Mr. A’s rebuttal on the 31st, Dispatch reported, “It is true that we omitted the context of the cat photo,” but emphasized, “This was because Mr. A used that photo as a tool for blackmail.”
Along with this, Dispatch disclosed details such as the threatening text messages Ms. A sent to Hwang Jung-min and photos she posted as proof of attending his son’s performance.
Previously, Ms. A had raised allegations of an extramarital affair with Hwang Jung-min on her social media. The allegations spread after Ms. A’s social media posts were shared on online communities and social media platforms on the 29th. Ms. A had previously released messages and audio recordings exchanged with a man believed to be Hwang Jung-min, claiming that he had made romantic advances toward her.
Hwang Jung-min’s agency and the production team of the film *Hope* have warned that they will take strong legal action against Ms. A. Hwang Jung-min, who has denied the allegations, is proceeding with his schedule as planned. On the 29th, immediately following the controversy, he attended a *Hope* stage greeting and met with the audience. This weekend, he will hold stage greetings in Busan, Daegu, and other cities.
As the back-and-forth between the two sides continues, Hwang Jung-min plans to carry out his “Hope” stage greeting schedule as planned.
