[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Actor Yoon Kyung-ho shed tears after winning the Best Supporting Actor award.

On the afternoon of the 31st, at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards held at Paradise City in Incheon, Yoon Kyung-ho received the Best Supporting Actor award.
Taking the stage, Yoon Kyung-ho wept profusely and said, “I can’t believe it.” He shared his thoughts, saying, “I came here intending to clap for others, but I ended up receiving an award.” He continued, “Ever since I won the Best New Actor award, I’ve watched others being congratulated and thought, ‘There are so many talented actors out there.’ I felt grateful just to be working alongside them and resolved to work even harder, so I don’t even know what to say now that I’ve won this award.”
He said, “This is absolutely not an award I could have won on my own. It was only possible because of my colleagues who worked alongside me.” He continued, “My dream is to have a long-lasting career. I don’t want to be someone who merely lives up to the position granted by this award; I want to stay in this field steadily for a long time, though I know that’s difficult. I take this award as a message to continue holding my ground in the future, and I’ll accept it gratefully, considering it an award for all of us.”
Yoon Kyung-ho reflected, “Whenever I talk about cooking for someone, I’m grateful to my wife for cooking for me, and I love my children,” and reiterated, “I received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Blue Dragon Series Awards.”
Yoon Kyung-ho starred as Park Jae-young, a veteran administrative supply officer, in the TVING series *The Legend of the Mess Sergeant*.
The Blue Dragon Series Awards is Korea’s first awards ceremony dedicated to streaming series content. The nominees, announced earlier, were selected from dramas and variety shows released on domestic and international streaming platforms between June 1 of last year and May 31 of this year.
