[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Actor Hwang Jung-min has countered the allegations raised by Ms. A regarding his private life by calling her a “stalker,” sparking a battle over the truth between the two sides. However, the conflict appears to be escalating as Ms. A has once again clarified her position in response to Hwang Jung-min’s side’s rebuttal.

Ms. A recently claimed on her social media that she had been in an inappropriate relationship with Hwang Jung-min. She even released messages exchanged with Hwang Jung-min and audio recordings of his voice.
However, Hwang Jung-min’s agency, Sam Company, stated on the 29th, “The author of the malicious posts regarding Hwang Jung-min is a suspect in a stalking case who has continuously harassed him,” adding, “Hwang Jung-min has filed a criminal complaint against the author.” They further explained, “The court has imposed provisional measures, including a restraining order, on the suspect on three separate occasions and issued a summary order imposing a fine of 3 million won after acknowledging the stalking charges.”
Plus M Entertainment, the investment and distribution company for the film *Hope* starring Hwang Jung-min, and Forged Films—the production company co-headed by director Na Hong-jin—also issued statements. Regarding the issues surrounding Hwang Jung-min’s private life, they stated, “We express our strong regret,” adding, “Mr. A is causing harm amounting to obstruction of business by using maliciously edited content to send emails to both companies as well as ‘Hope’s’ partner companies, and by repeatedly uploading and deleting posts slandering the actor and the film on social media.” They further emphasized, “This not only deals a blow to the overall business of *Hope* but also maliciously tarnishes the efforts and reputations of those who worked hard on the film,” adding, “We are actively considering legal action regarding the adverse effects on *Hope* and plan to continue taking strong measures to prevent further damage.”
In response, Mr. A reiterated his position. Regarding the summary order imposing a 3 million won fine for stalking charges, he countered, “I have appealed the decision, asserted my innocence, and requested a formal trial. There is no final guilty verdict.” He also claimed that he had assisted Hwang Jung-min with his soju brand business and had written sexually explicit posts at Hwang Jung-min’s request. Regarding Dispatch’s report that there was no physical contact, Mr. A countered, “There was physical contact even during our first meeting,” and added, “I believe this case constitutes emotional and sexual exploitation, as well as labor exploitation, that occurred amid a significant power imbalance. Regardless of Hwang Jung-min’s intentions, I had to continuously endure emotional deprivation, sexual humiliation, and exhaustion resulting from unpaid labor.”
As the battle over the truth between the two sides continues, Hwang Jung-min is continuing his stage greetings for the film *Hope*, in which he starred.
