In the first episode of the web variety show “Wind Direction,” released on the 1st via the YouTube channel “Ttun Ttun,” Yoo Jae-suk was shown traveling to Iksan, North Jeolla Province, with actor Lee Sung-min, TV personalities Ji Seok-jin, and Yang Se-chan.
While on the move that day, Yoo Jae-suk suggested visiting a bank, saying, “I need to pay my taxes, but I haven’t had time because of my filming schedule.” As the group stopped at a bank to withdraw money for their travel expenses, Yoo Jae-suk asked for their understanding, saying, “The deadline is June 30, so I’m going to pay my taxes and then come back.”
When Ji Seok-jin suggested, “Just do it later,” Yoo Jae-suk stated his conviction, “Taxes must be paid on time. Paying them on time is really important,” and headed to the bank.
Seeing Yoo Jae-suk get out of the car and run toward the bank, Yang Se-chan burst out laughing, saying, “This is the first time in my life I’ve seen Yoo Jae-suk go pay his taxes on TV.”
Meanwhile, during a rigorous tax audit conducted in 2024, no evidence of tax evasion—such as errors in tax filings or intentional omission of income—was found in Yoo Jae-suk’s case.
