[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] #Simplatform Co., Ltd., a company specializing in physical AI, announced on the 3rd that it has signed a contract with Korea Alps for an “AI-Based Mold Manufacturing Process Optimization” project worth approximately 2.5 billion won and will begin full-scale implementation of the manufacturing innovation project.

This project aims to enhance productivity and quality by applying artificial intelligence (AI) to the mold manufacturing process and to establish a data-driven smart manufacturing system. Simplatform Co., Ltd. plans to support the collection and integration of manufacturing data, the development and operation of AI models, and process analysis and optimization based on its proprietary physical AI platform, “NUBISON AX.”

Korea ALPS, the Korean production hub of the global automotive electronics and electronic components company ALPS ALPINE Group, will embark on the digital transformation of its mold manufacturing processes and the establishment of an AI-based production system through this project.

Simplatform Co., Ltd. plans to expand the application of its manufacturing AI technology and data utilization expertise—accumulated in the semiconductor, electronics, and components industries—to the mold manufacturing sector. The company aims to enhance production efficiency and ensure consistent quality by linking on-site equipment with data and incorporating AI analysis results into actual process operations.

The company plans to use this contract as an opportunity to expand its portfolio of manufacturing site references and strengthen its autonomous manufacturing business centered on NUBISON AX.

Lim Dae-geun and Kang Tae-shin, co-CEOs of Simplatform Co., Ltd., stated, “Competitiveness in the manufacturing industry is determined by the ability to analyze data generated on the shop floor using AI and apply it to actual processes.” They added, “Through this project, we will accelerate the AI transformation of mold manufacturing sites and enhance our competitiveness in autonomous manufacturing technology.”
