Launched in 1991, “Lollapalooza” is a world-renowned music festival spanning various genres, including rock, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. This year, over 170 acts will perform across eight stages over four days (July 30–August 2).
Jennie became the first female solo artist from South Korea to headline “Lollapalooza.” Closing out the “Bud Light” stage—the festival’s main stage—she performed a total of 18 songs over the course of about an hour, accompanied by a live band.
Her agency, OA Entertainment, stated, “Jennie got the audience singing along in unison during her performance of the new song ‘Less Than a Lover’ and received an enthusiastic response for her performance of an unreleased track as well.”

Cortice took the stage at the “T-Mobile” stage. Over the course of 40 minutes, they performed a total of 11 songs, including “GO!”, “What You Want,” and “REDRED.” They also delivered their first live joint performance of the collaboration track “MOTION” with American rapper Jussie J.
Their agency, Big Hit Music, described the atmosphere, saying, “Many fans wearing the official merchandise T-shirts and bandanas released for this performance were clearly visible at the venue.”
After the performance, Cortis shared his thoughts through his agency, saying, “It was truly a joy to be part of ‘Lollapalooza Chicago,’ which I’ve dreamed of since I was a child. Seeing the passionate concert atmosphere I’d only vaguely imagined come to life was overwhelming and made me so happy.”
Meanwhile, the girl groups IZ*ONE and aespa were also featured on this year’s “Lollapalooza Chicago” lineup. IZ*ONE performed on the “T-Mobile” stage on the second day, while aespa will take the “Allianz” stage on the final day to meet the audience.
