[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] HYBE’s new label ABD announced on the 3rd that the girl group TUIDE will release their debut mini-album “TUNE & PLAY” on the 24th.

TUIDE consists of seven members: Seo-hee, Seo-yeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Se-ah, and Lee Ha-nyu. The group’s name is derived from “Tune the Tide,” meaning “to harmonize the flow,” and embodies their aspiration to “experience and harmonize the diverse currents of the world to create new joy.”
ABD stated, “The group consists entirely of teenagers born between 2006 and 2011,” adding, “With diverse cultural backgrounds spanning Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and Japan, the members plan to offer a unique experience to global music fans based on their distinct personalities and multinational synergy.”
Regarding their debut album, they explained, “It embodies TUID’s identity, which aims to introduce a new trend to the global market with sounds that transcend the boundaries of generation, culture, and language.”
Ahead of their official debut, Tuid held a two-day preview event titled “PLAYGROUND” on the 1st and 2nd at Layer Studio 11 in Mapo-gu, Seoul. At the event, Tuid performed all the tracks from their debut album for the first time, receiving an enthusiastic response from the live audience.
