[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Acryl Inc., a company specializing in AI Transformation (AX) infrastructure, announced on the 3rd that it has partnered with AI semiconductor firm FuriosaAI to build a “Korean-style AI full-stack” that combines domestically developed AI models with semiconductors.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to optimize Acryl Inc.’s healthcare-specialized large language model (LLM), “ALLM.H,” for FuriosaAI’s second-generation AI inference neural processing unit (NPU), “Renegade (RNGD),” and jointly develop a commercial AI inference platform based on this integration. The vision is to establish a Korean-style full-stack AI reference by combining domestically developed AI models with semiconductors and infrastructure operation technologies.
As their first collaborative project, the companies plan to port ALLM.H to the RNGD environment and then validate its inference performance, operational stability, and power efficiency. Following this, they intend to pursue pilot projects focused on the healthcare and public sectors and expand commercialization.
The two companies will prioritize the on-premise market, such as hospitals and public institutions where data export is restricted. By providing integrated AI models and high-performance AI infrastructure, they plan to reduce the burden of deployment and operation while also addressing the demand for sovereign AI, which emphasizes data sovereignty.
In addition, they will continue to collaborate on operating and validating the performance of NPU clusters based on AI infrastructure platforms, jointly conducting government and public sector research and development (R&D) projects, expanding AI infrastructure business, and joint marketing efforts.
Acryl Inc. plans to strengthen its competitiveness in multi-vendor AI infrastructure—encompassing GPUs, NPUs, and DPUs—by expanding its support scope to include FuriosaAI’s Renegade, following its existing experience operating NVIDIA GPU-based AI infrastructure and its support for Rebellion NPUs and MangoBoost DPUs.
