KTCorporation announced that it will operate an internet discount program for foreign customers residing in Korea for approximately one and a half years, through January 31, 2027.

This program was designed with the usage patterns of foreign customers staying in Korea for short periods—typically around one year—in mind. Its core objective is to provide substantial monthly discount benefits to short-term foreign residents who often find long-term contracts burdensome when signing up for internet services.

The discount applies to a total of six plans, including standard internet and Wi-Fi bundle packages. By speed tier, the plans include △Internet Slim (up to 100 Mbps), △Internet Basic (up to 500 Mbps), and △Internet Essence (up to 1 Gbps), each of which comes with a standard Wi-Fi package.

When the program is applied, the monthly service fees (based on the 3-year contract discount level, including VAT) are: △ Internet Slim: 23,100 won; △ Internet Basic: 30,800 won; △Internet Essence: 37,400 won. For plans that include Wi-Fi as a standard feature, the rates are △Internet Slim Wi-Fi: 25,300 won △Internet Basic Wi-Fi: 33,000 won △Internet Essence Wi-Fi: 39,600 won.

The company has also improved accessibility for new subscriptions. To accommodate foreign customers who may have difficulty applying online, KTCorporation has streamlined the sign-up process so that customers can conveniently apply through all online and offline channels, including a dedicated customer service center for foreigners and KTCorporation retail stores nationwide.

KTCorporation plans to continue analyzing the diverse needs of foreign residents in Korea to strengthen its lineup of tailored products and continuously expand service convenience.

Kim Young-geol, Senior Vice President and Head of KTCorporation’s Customer Business Division, stated, “This discount program is a benefit designed to make it more convenient for foreign customers to choose and use KTCorporation’s internet services,” adding, “We will continue to expand our product offerings and benefits to reflect customer needs.”
