[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] After rumors surfaced that Won-i (22), a member of the girl group Lisenne, was part of a school bully group, her middle school homeroom teacher—who had previously come forward to clarify the situation—deleted her social media account and left a final post.

Netizen A, who identified themselves as Won-i’s middle school homeroom teacher, wrote on their X (formerly Twitter) account on the 2nd, “It seems the matter has been resolved, so I intend to delete my account. However, I have a few words I really want to convey to those who sparked this controversy before I go.”
A added, “While the development of social media has made it possible to communicate anytime, anywhere, it seems that understanding and consideration have disappeared, replaced by an abundance of one-sided statements.”
Citing the Analects’ saying, “When three people walk together, there must be one who can be my teacher” (三人行 必有我師), A continued, “When three people walk together, there is bound to be someone who can be my teacher. While not everyone can be a good person to others, there is surely at least one positive quality worth learning from in everyone. I hope we can live in a world where we focus on others’ strengths first and generously understand their shortcomings, rather than viewing them with suspicion and scrutiny.”
Previously, a post claiming that Won-i had associated with a group of school bullies and engaged in delinquent behavior during his school days was published on an online community, sparking controversy.
In response, a person identified as “A” created a social media account under the name “Won-i’s Homeroom Teacher” to clarify the situation. Presenting evidence such as letters Won-i wrote during his school days, messages exchanged with teachers, and graduation photos, “A” explained that Won-i was a diligent student who served as an officer on the school-wide student council during middle school.
Ms. A urged, “I hope the indiscriminate criticism based on baseless claims will stop.” The controversy subsequently subsided after the post alleging Won-i’s involvement with a school gang was deleted. As promised after her final post, Ms. A deleted her account.
Meanwhile, Lisanne recently saw her popularity soar after “LOVE ATTACK” climbed back up the major music charts to reach No. 1. Last month, she released “Pretty Girl,” a remake of a KARA song.
