[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Cybersecurity firm GENIANS, INC.(263860)posted its best-ever financial results in the first half of 2026 since its founding. This was driven by a surge in demand for security solutions as security threats stemming from artificial intelligence (AI) have accelerated.
GENIANS, INC. announced on the 4th that its consolidated revenue for the first half of 2026 rose 19.9% year-over-year to 24.92 billion won, while operating profit surged 294.3% to 4.31 billion won.
Second-quarter revenue was 13.184 billion won, and second-quarter operating profit was 2.57 billion won, representing year-over-year increases of 12.3% and 47.5%, respectively.
GENIANS, INC. emphasized that it simultaneously boosted revenue stability and profitability through robust growth in its core businesses—NAC (Network Access Control), EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and integrated solutions—as well as the expansion of its SaaS (Software as a Service) offerings, such as Cloud NAC and MDR.
Amid increased demand for EDR following major hacking incidents last year, securing reference projects that simultaneously adopted antivirus (AV) and EDR solutions was also a key achievement. “Ginian Home,” a cross-generation network segmentation solution launched earlier this year, also secured its first customer—a large apartment complex in the Seoul metropolitan area. With the strong performance of core products combined with the success of new products, the outlook for the second half of the year is also considered bright.
In the NAC division, performance was bolstered by an expansion of large-scale new and upgrade contracts from public institutions and major private corporations. Revenue from small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) more than doubled, broadening the customer base. In the EDR division, following seven consecutive years as the market leader in public procurement, the company firmly maintained its top position in the first half of 2026 and secured a large number of new implementations and renewal projects from major corporations and the financial sector.
The SaaS business also showed growth. The number of cloud NAC customers exceeded 299, a 26% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of MDR service customers—targeted at companies lacking specialized security personnel—more than doubled year-over-year. In global business, revenue from the Middle East increased by more than 50%, and the cumulative number of overseas customers surpassed 200.
As threats—such as autonomous hacking using generative AI and fileless ransomware, as seen in the recent Anthropic “Mythos” case—become increasingly sophisticated, the paradigm shift from reactive response to real-time proactive defense is gaining momentum. Consequently, demand for GENIANS, INC.’s integrated security platform—which combines EDR for continuous monitoring and tracking of abnormal endpoint behavior with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)—is expected to continue into the second half of the year.
Furthermore, to block hacking threats at their source in the era of quantum computing, GENIANS, INC. has completed the development of its core “Quantum Security Gateway” technology—which integrates the latest Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) technology into a Zero Trust architecture—and is set to launch it within the year. Through this, the company plans to fully enter the future high-value-added quantum security market, which encompasses AI, cloud computing, and autonomous driving.
Lee Dong-beom, CEO of GENIANS, INC., stated, “Amid increasingly intelligent and automated AI cyber threats, we have proven the market’s trust in us through our unrivaled technological capabilities and tangible financial results.” He added, “We will complete our AI development roadmap without a hitch and focus on securing next-generation technologies, such as quantum security, to drive sustained growth at the forefront of cybersecurity in the second half of the year.”
