The goal is to expand information service distribution channels and customer touchpoints while exploring new data-driven business opportunities.
The two companies are exploring ways to provide NICE Information Service’s key information services—including corporate information and identity verification—through “coocon Corporation.net.” Through this partnership, coocon Corporation plans to strengthen its portfolio of data and information services on its platform, while NICE Information Service aims to expand its sales channels to offer customers a wider variety of services.
They also plan to pursue new data-driven businesses by combining the financial and non-financial data collected and aggregated by coocon Corporation with NICE Information Service’s credit scoring models.
They will also expand their collaboration in global business. coocon Corporation will leverage its global data collection and integration capabilities to support NICE Information Service in securing and linking local data necessary for its overseas credit information business.
Kim Jong-yun, CEO of NICE Information Service, stated, “This agreement will serve as an opportunity to secure new customers and markets by combining NICE Information Service’s credit assessment and information service capabilities with coocon Corporation’s data integration and platform distribution capabilities.” He added, “Starting with the expansion of distribution for existing services, such as corporate information and identity verification, we will gradually broaden the scope of our cooperation to include new data-driven services and overseas credit bureau (CB) businesses, thereby laying the foundation for the sustainable growth of both companies.”
Kim Jong-hyun, CEO of coocon Corporation, remarked, “This will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen the competitiveness of Kucon.net’s information services by leveraging coocon Corporation’s data collection, integration, and API distribution capabilities.” He added, “Together with NICE Information Service, we will develop new data products and business models and achieve results in the global data business as well.”
