[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] #IGLOO Corporation, a provider of AI-based security operations and analytics platforms, has secured four patents for core security technologies designed for cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) environments. The company’s strategy is to strengthen its next-generation security operations capabilities, ranging from container security to ensuring AI reliability and processing large-scale security data.

IGLOO Corporation announced on the 4th that it has acquired four patents designed to reduce security blind spots in cloud-native environments and enhance the efficiency of AI-based security systems. The company plans to use these patented technologies to advance its intelligent security response capabilities.

Two of the secured patents involve technologies that strengthen security in Kubernetes-based cloud environments. Kubernetes is a platform that automatically manages containerized applications, and as the shift to the cloud expands, the importance of its security is growing.

The patent titled “Kubernetes Cluster Monitoring Device Based on Security Trends” involves technology that analyzes anomalous signs occurring within a cluster and tracks attack paths. It utilizes AI models to assess the security importance of each asset and automatically updates security rules accordingly.

Another patent, “Event Monitoring Device for Kubernetes Clusters,” is a technology that collects event data within the cluster in real time and verifies whether it has been tampered with or forged by comparing it to the original data. This enables the visualization of internal communication flows and blocks the distribution of malicious images, thereby improving the efficiency of cloud security operations.

Two AI security-related patents focused on improving data analysis accuracy and processing performance.

The patent titled “Method and Apparatus for Optimizing Structured Query Language (SQL) Data Based on a Large Language Model (LLM)” describes technology that automatically converts users’ natural language requests into SQL commands. Its core objective is to reduce the “hallucination phenomenon”—where AI generates incorrect information—by improving the accuracy of commands generated by the LLM.

The patent titled “Parallel Event Processing System and Method Using Distributed Log Streams” is a technology for simultaneously processing large-scale security data. It enables AI to learn past response patterns to determine event processing priorities and supports real-time responses to security threats.

Lee Deok-chun, CEO of IGLOO Corporation, stated, “With the proliferation of cloud-native technologies and AI, detecting security threats within containers and ensuring the reliability of AI results are emerging as new security challenges.” He added, “These four patents demonstrate IGLOO Corporation’s technological competitiveness in responding to these changes.”

He added, “We will continue to strengthen our intelligent security response capabilities by securing core technologies in the fields of cloud and AI security.”
