[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Environmental plant and general construction company WELCRON HANTEC CO.,LTD.(076080)announced on the 4th that it has signed a 79.9 billion won contract with KB Golden Life Care, a subsidiary of KB Life Insurance, for the construction of a new facility in Buk-Wirye.
The contract value represents 47.93% of the company’s consolidated revenue from last year. The contract period runs through October 3, 2028, and involves the construction of a new senior housing complex in Buk-Wirye, Songpa-gu, Seoul. The client, KB Golden Life Care, is an affiliate of KB Financial Group(105560) and operates elderly care facilities and senior housing complexes.
WELCRON HANTEC CO.,LTD. has previously carried out new construction projects for KB Golden Life Care’s Seocho Village and Eunpyeong Village. Accordingly, WELCRON HANTEC CO.,LTD. explained that this contract was secured based on its experience in executing previous projects.
A WELCRON HANTEC CO.,LTD. official stated, “We plan to further strengthen our competitiveness in the construction and environmental plant sectors by building on this contract win.”
Going forward, WELCRON HANTEC CO.,LTD. plans to expand its order intake in specialized construction sectors, including senior housing, while continuing to strengthen its environmental plant business based on Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) evaporation and concentration and Anammox technologies.
