[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Daesung Hi-Tech Co., Ltd.(129920)announced on the 5th that, led by its Vietnam subsidiary, the utilization rate of its production line for core cooling components for artificial intelligence data centers (AIDC) has risen rapidly and is approaching full capacity.

Daesung Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. has established mass production systems for Quick Disconnect Coupling (QDC) and Universal Quick Disconnect (UQD) components used in AIDC liquid cooling (D2C) systems. The company currently has a monthly production capacity of approximately 1.25 million units and, following the start of prototype supply last March, began full-scale mass production last month.

Along with the expansion of production, the number of clients is also growing. Having earned recognition for its quality competitiveness within NVIDIA’s artificial intelligence (AI) server supply chain, the company has expanded its client base from one initial client to five, leveraging its production system in Vietnam. In line with the growth of the AIDC liquid cooling market, discussions regarding additional supplies and new contracts are also underway.

Daesung Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. is also considering investing in equipment for its Vietnam subsidiary to meet rising demand. As sales at the local subsidiary are expected to gain momentum in the second half of this year and continue growing next year, the company plans to proactively expand its production capacity.

Building on the mass production experience gained through its global clients, Daesung Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. is also setting out to target the domestic market. Given the current high reliance on overseas products for core components of domestic AIDC cooling systems, the company intends to expand its supply to AIDC infrastructure firms and major domestic corporations.

An official from Daesung Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. stated, “The AIDC cooling market is one where demand for both core components and manufacturing equipment is growing in tandem,” adding, “Based on our business structure that combines mass production of components with the supply of manufacturing equipment, we will expand our order intake for AIDC projects both domestically and internationally.”
