AI-based middleware is software that translates real-world spatial data into a digital environment and connects AI training and inference results to industrial systems. It is designed to integrate spatial data, robots, existing production systems, and AI agents so they can operate together.
Based on this middleware, K3I. Co., Ltd. plans to expand its business with a focus on three key areas: building digital spaces for physical AI training, integrating robots with existing production systems, and utilizing Agent AI agents. The company is targeting industries with demand for digital twins, such as manufacturing, smart cities, education, and tourism and exhibitions.
K3I. Co., Ltd. connects real-world spatial data, industrial systems, and physical AI solutions through its XR middleware, “Universe XR Framework,” and its digital twin platform, “Neuro Twin X.” Based on this, the company plans to expand its physical AI training data infrastructure in the manufacturing and robotics sectors.
K3I. Co., Ltd. recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SAMBO MOTORS CO., LTD. to collaborate on Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX) in manufacturing and is also promoting the application of digital twin technology in manufacturing sites. The companies are jointly developing industrial AI agents and digital twin-based AX models for use in production planning, quality control, and supply chain management.
K3I. Co., Ltd. stated, “We will lay the groundwork for connecting robots, industrial systems, and the physical world through AI-based middleware,” adding, “Based on XR middleware and digital twin technology, we will continue to expand our achievements in the fields of physical AI and Agent AI.”
