[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] CUBE ENTERTAINMENT, INC.(182360)(CUBE ENTERTAINMENT, INC.) announced on the 5th that its male idol group NOWZ will release the digital single “Achilles” and kick off their full-scale comeback activities. “Achilles” is a new song released approximately five months after the group’s Japanese debut EP “NOWZ” in March.

“Achilles” is a track that offers a modern reinterpretation of 1980s punk and disco elements, capturing the excitement and confusion felt in the moment of falling in love at first sight. Following their forays into rock, EDM, and hip-hop, NOWZ is now expanding its musical spectrum by taking on the disco genre.

NOWZ has previously showcased a variety of genres through the title track “EVERGLOW” from their first mini-album “IGNITION” released last year, the title track “HomeRUN” from the single “Play Ball,” and their original Japanese track “AMMO (Feat. YRD Leo)” released last March.

CUBE ENTERTAINMENT, INC. has also organized an offline event to celebrate the comeback. NOWZ is scheduled to hold a busking performance on the 9th at COEX Square Plaza in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where they will perform their hit songs, including “Achilles.” This follows their recent performance of the new song at the “2026 Ocean World Busday Blue Splash Festival,” continuing their series of fan meet-and-greets.

NOWZ will kick off their music show promotions on the 6th with an appearance on Mnet’s “M Countdown.” On the 22nd, they are scheduled to take the stage at the “2026 TME Live International Music Awards” held at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, continuing their global activities.
