Lee Hi (left), Dok2 (Photo: Dok2’s social media)Their agency, 8O8 High Recordings, posted an announcement on its official social media accounts on the 4th, stating, “On the 2nd, we were notified by the tour organizer, KINO WHITE TOURING KOREA, that all performances in every city on the world tour had been canceled and that the process for refunding ticket holders had begun.” The agency continued, “This cancellation is not due to a decision by the artists or any fault on their part,” adding, “We repeatedly extended the payment deadlines and requested fulfillment of contractual obligations to ensure the concerts could proceed, but the organizer notified us of the tour’s cancellation without completing payment or making the necessary preparations.” Ihwa and Dokki were scheduled to kick off their world tour with a performance in Singapore on the 8th, followed by shows in Manila, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland through next month. 808 High Recordings stated, “Please contact the point of purchase where you bought your tickets for details regarding ticket refunds,” adding, “We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been looking forward to the tour, and we plan to pursue the necessary legal proceedings regarding this matter.” Meanwhile, Lee Hi and Dok2 announced in March that they had co-founded the music label 808 High Recordings.
