This cancellation will be carried out using treasury shares previously acquired by the company. The estimated cost of the cancellation is 15,007,540,000 won, and the scheduled cancellation date is the 12th.
KG Financial explained that this treasury stock cancellation is a measure taken in accordance with its “2026 Corporate Value Enhancement Plan.” The company also stated that, as the treasury stock is being canceled within the scope of distributable profits in accordance with the Commercial Act, there will be no reduction in capital.
Once the cancellation is complete, the number of issued shares is expected to decrease from the current 38,010,802 to 36,253,860. The amount to be canceled was calculated based on the average acquisition price of the treasury shares held by KG Financial as of the date of the board resolution.
