*The Return of the Cop* is a chaotic family action comedy about Detective Dong-sik, who ends up raising five children on his own while his wife, Kyung-ah, is on a secret mission disguised as a vacation, and gets caught up in an operation to take down a criminal organization.

Cha Tae-hyun portrays a detective in the Violent Crimes Unit and a father of five with great humanity.
