(Photo: WING YIP FOOD HOLDINGS GROUP) CEO Wang had previously purchased 18,355 shares of the company’s stock on the open market on the 5th. He then announced through a disclosure that he plans to invest approximately 270 million won to acquire an additional 237,533 shares of the company’s stock on the open market from September 7 to October 6. This represents 1.89% of the total issued shares. Along with the CEO’s on-market purchases, the largest shareholder, Wang Jeong-pung, will participate in a capital increase by investing 20.8 billion won. A proposal for a third-party allocation capital increase worth 36.8 billion won is scheduled to be presented at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held today, and the payment is expected to be completed by the end of the day. The company explained that it expects this capital increase to expand its market capitalization as new shares are issued on September 7. Amid potential investor concerns regarding the strict listing maintenance requirements newly implemented this year, the company emphasized that the CEO’s on-market purchases and the largest shareholder’s participation in the capital increase are measures designed not merely to expand their stakes, but to proactively meet listing maintenance requirements through responsible capital investment and to enhance corporate and shareholder value. A company official stated, “Based on the CEO and the largest shareholder’s proactive capital investment and ongoing support, we will further solidify our stable foundation for maintaining our listing,” adding, “Going forward, we will continue to implement necessary measures in a timely manner while enhancing market trust and continuously increasing corporate and shareholder value by strengthening our business competitiveness and improving profitability.”
