[Edaily Reporter Kang Min-koo ] Global fintech company Hecto Financial(234340)posted its best-ever first-half results this year.
Hecto Financial announced on the 6th, through a preliminary earnings release, that its consolidated revenue for the first half of this year rose 18.9% year-over-year to 107.6 billion won, while operating profit increased 83.5% to 13.7 billion won.
For the second quarter, consolidated revenue rose 12.6% year-over-year to 50.1 billion won, while operating profit increased 20.2% to 4.6 billion won.
Hecto Financial continues to grow, driven by the stable expansion of its payment services and increased cross-border settlement revenue, including rising transaction volumes from global merchants. In particular, the company is strengthening its profitability through the expansion of convenient cash payment services—such as its proprietary membership-based high-margin services, including direct bank account payments—and increased transaction volumes from global merchants.
Hecto Financial also aims to emerge as a global fintech company. As a key partner in Circle’s stablecoin ecosystem, it has secured access to the global stablecoin payment network (CPN) and is participating in the “x402 Foundation,” which sets AI payment standards.
The company has also set specific corporate value targets and granted RSUs (restricted stock units) linked to market capitalization to key executives and employees, creating an environment where they can focus more intently on enhancing corporate value from a shareholder’s perspective.
Choi Jong-won, CEO of Hecto Financial, stated, “We are simultaneously strengthening both profitability and growth potential based on the stable growth of our existing payment business and the expansion of our cross-border settlement business.” He added, “By proactively responding to the legalization of digital assets and changes in the AI market, we will cultivate stablecoin and Agent AI payment infrastructure as new growth engines and make a leap forward as a global fintech company.”
