KGINICIS CO.,LTD. announced on the 6th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in digital finance and data-driven businesses at Harmony Hall in KG Tower, Jung-gu, Seoul. The signing ceremony held that day was attended by KGINICIS CO.,LTD. CEO Lee Seon-jae, Executive Director Myung Jae-hyun, Korea Credit Rating CEO Patrick Yoon, and other officials.

Through this agreement, the two companies agreed to jointly explore: △ joint review of new data-driven business models; △ identification of potential business collaboration opportunities related to digital assets and financial services; △ exchange of market information, industry trends, and business ideas; and △ cooperation in other mutually agreed-upon areas.

Specific areas of cooperation will be discussed on an ongoing basis, focusing on various collaboration possibilities in data-driven financial services and the digital finance sector.

Commenting on the agreement, a KGINICIS CO.,LTD. official emphasized, “This opens a new horizon by combining the payment ecosystem with credit and data infrastructure, and will serve as a turning point for KGINICIS CO.,LTD. to evolve beyond payments into a ‘data business enterprise.’” The official added, “Through close cooperation with Korea’s most authoritative credit rating agency, we will seek innovative models that encompass data and digital finance and secure new growth engines in the next-generation digital finance market.”

Patrick Yoon, CEO of Korea Credit Rating, also remarked, “This MOU is a meaningful starting point for jointly exploring new business opportunities,” adding, “Based on the expertise we have accumulated in the credit rating and research fields, Korea Credit Rating will work with KGINICIS CO.,LTD. to explore various opportunities for collaboration in the digital finance sector.”
