[Edaily Reporter KIM SAE-MI ] BioNote(377740)reported double-digit growth in first-half revenue and operating profit, driven by the expansion of its animal diagnostics business.

BioNote announced on the 6th that its consolidated operating profit was provisionally estimated at 14.8 billion won, a 34% increase compared to the same period last year. During the same period, revenue rose 13.3% to 68.9 billion won, while net income fell 43.1% to 50.4 billion won.

The company explained that the Life Sciences Division also improved its profitability by focusing on cost reduction and operational efficiency.

A BioNote official stated, “Going forward, we will diversify our portfolio by entering the automated chemiluminescent immunoassay (Auto CLIA) market and developing AI-based diagnostic platforms, while combining the independent business capabilities of our overseas subsidiaries with our global distribution network,” adding, “We will secure next-generation growth engines by entering the veterinary antibody therapeutics market.”
