[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] Bizplay, a business expense management solutions provider, is partnering with AI data company BECU AI(148780)to accelerate the AI transformation (AX) of business travel and expense management operations.

The event was attended by Seok Chang-kyu, CEO of Bizplay, and Lim Kyung-hwan, CEO of BECU AI, among others.
The core of this agreement is to integrate BECU AI’s AI-based data structuring technology and news data capabilities into Bizplay’s business travel and expense management platform. The two companies plan to apply AI across the entire spectrum of business travel and expense management for corporate and institutional clients to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
First, they will conduct joint research on technology to structure unstructured data—such as receipts and other supporting documents, settlement and approval documents, and internal regulations—generated during business travel and expense management processes.
To this end, they will launch a proof of concept (PoC) project to convert the key content of documents into structured data that can be utilized by the system and to use AI to verify whether supporting documents and expense details comply with operational standards and regulations.
The two companies will also collaborate on a service providing business travel safety information. Targeting customers of Bizplay’s business travel solution, they plan to utilize BECU AI’s news data to provide safety-related news from the destination country and safety alerts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two companies plan to first implement the service based on domestic media sources and then gradually expand integration with overseas media through mutual consultation.
Lim Kyung-hwan, CEO of BECU AI, stated, “This marks the starting point for AI-driven business innovation created by combining BECU AI’s data structuring technology with Bizplay’s corporate business platform,” adding, “We will continue to introduce differentiated AI services that enhance corporate operational efficiency and decision-making competitiveness by organically linking the technologies and data held by both companies.”
Seok Chang-kyu, CEO of Bizplay, remarked, “We have been at the forefront of using AI to reduce repetitive document processing tasks in corporate settings and enhance the convenience of expense and business travel management services.” He added, “Through this agreement, we will be able to accelerate the digital transformation (AX) of expense and business travel operations for a wide range of companies, led by large corporations, while simultaneously improving the accuracy of document processing and the convenience of our services.”
