According to the medical AI industry on the 7th, Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. secured a contract to supply solutions for lung cancer screening in the Rostau region of Germany through Canon Medical Systems GmbH (hereinafter “Canon”). Coreline Soft Co., Ltd.’s chest computed tomography (CT) AI solution was adopted as part of Canon’s participation in the Rostau regional tender.
This contract is structured to provide initial software supply, installation, and implementation, followed by 10 years of technical and operational support. It is not a one-year usage contract or a fixed-term license that expires after 10 years, but rather a combination of initial system implementation and long-term technical support.
The solution will be supplied to a secondary reading network linked to multiple primary reading sites within the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. Coreline Soft Co., Ltd.’s solution will be utilized primarily for LDCT-based lung cancer screening and is scheduled for use within the local clinical environment. It will be applied to connect images captured at various medical institutions with specialized reading centers and to systematically manage AI analysis results and reading information.
Starting in April of this year, Germany incorporated low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) lung cancer screening for high-risk smokers and former smokers into its statutory health insurance system. AVIEW HUB serves to integrate AI analysis results into actual screening operations. It links images and analysis results between primary and secondary reading institutions and provides integrated management of examination lists and reading tasks across multiple institutions. It also offers features necessary for multi-center lung cancer screening, such as sharing and joint evaluation of reading results, pseudonymization of patient information, follow-up management, and quality control.
