[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Fintech company Finger Inc.(163730)announced on the 7th that it will acquire a 79.48% stake in Mikelro Robotics, a developer of industrial robot engines, for 15.97286 billion won to diversify its business and secure future growth engines.

The acquisition targets 487,505 shares of Mikelolo Robotics, including both common and preferred stock. The acquisition amount represents 23.64% of Finger Inc.’s total assets and 20.57% of its equity, based on consolidated figures as of the end of last year. Through this transaction, Finger Inc. will become the largest shareholder of Mikelolo Robotics.
Finger Inc. official stated, “We plan to combine Mikelolo Robotics’ physical AI, robot path generation, and manufacturing process automation technologies with our cloud, platform, enterprise resource planning (ERP), data, and artificial intelligence (AI) Agent AI technologies to advance our manufacturing digital transformation (DX) and robot software businesses.”
