On the 7th, The Black Label posted a statement on its official social media accounts, stating, “Recently, information that does not align with the facts and unverified speculation regarding Rosé’s personal schedule and her participation in the debut anniversary event have been spreading online.” They added, “Rosé has long prioritized this event to share this meaningful moment with fans and secured her schedule well in advance.” Previously, on the 8th, YG Entertainment (YG) announced that it would hold a BLACKPINK 10th-anniversary event at an undisclosed location in Seoul for 40 paid members of the fan platform Weverse, selected via a lottery. However, YG noted that only members whose schedules permitted would participate in the event. The agency did not disclose which members would be absent. Amid this, news that Rosé was recently spotted in Los Angeles (LA), U.S., led some to speculate that she might be one of the members unable to attend BLACKPINK’s 10th-anniversary event. The Black Label stated, “We, too, have been doing our utmost through ongoing discussions to ensure our artists can be present for this important occasion,” and added, “We ask that you refrain from reckless criticism based on one-sided speculation that has not been verified.” The agency also emphasized, “We will continue to do our best to protect our artists.”
