(Image generated using AI) KOREA ADVANCED MATERIALS announced today that “KoreaQuantum,” an enterprise-grade quantum transformation verification platform developed by its subsidiary Quantum AI Solutions, has been officially listed on QOBLIB (Quantum Optimization Benchmark Library), an international quantum optimization benchmark.
QOBLIB is an international benchmark operated by ZIB Berlin in Germany and IBM, which compares and verifies the performance of quantum optimization algorithms using common problems and evaluation criteria. KoreaQuantum derived optimal solutions for all eight standard optimization problems tested and underwent a total of four public reviews.
Korea Quantum is a platform where companies can input business problems in natural language; artificial intelligence (AI) then analyzes the feasibility of applying quantum technology and automatically converts the problem into an optimization model that can be processed on both quantum computers and conventional computers.
It cross-validates results using NVIDIA’s CUDA-Q-based GPU virtual quantum machines and IBM’s actual quantum computers, and automatically generates performance comparison reports against existing optimization technologies.
It is believed that the stock price reflects expectations that the company can expand its quantum transformation business into the manufacturing, logistics, and finance sectors in the future, in addition to having validated its technological capabilities through inclusion in international benchmarks.
